Why don’t personalisation fields display when sending a preview message?
Personalisation, embedded images, tracking links, and reads won’t display when you’re sending a preview message as the message is not linked to a specific contact record.
You can test personalisation by using the live testing functionality. This enables you to test personalisation with data from five random contacts or by specifying the five contacts whose data you want to use to test. Alternatively, to test personalisation, track reads and links, you’ll need to send the message to an actual list (we suggest creating a test list for this type of testing).
