What happens to contacts when they unsubscribe from a workflow?
If a contact unsubscribes from a workflow, they only get unsubscribed from the message type that they unsubscribed with. For example, if they unsubscribe via an SMS you sent them, they will not receive any more SMSs, but they will continue moving through the workflow and receive all emails in the workflow, unless they unsubscribe from those as well. If this happens, they will continue moving through the workflow, but won’t receive any messages.
If you want, you can also add an unenrolment trigger to the workflow to specify when to unsubscribe a contact from the workflow.
