A/B Split Testing Comes to Everlytic
Version 7.4 of Everlytic includes the first phase of our brand new A/B Split Testing feature. This is a huge new feature and we know it will bring a new dimension to your email campaigns.
What is A/B Testing?
In a nutshell, A/B Testing allows you to send two versions of an email to your contacts to collect statistics about customer behaviour. The key is to only make one change, so that you can be sure the change you made influenced how your contacts interact with your email. You can work out which version is more effective and use that version for future campaigns.
What Can You Test?
For an A/B test to deliver meaningful results, you need to know exactly what you are testing. Here are a few suggestions:
- Email subject
- Call-to-Action
- Email body text
- Graphics
- Colour
- Email layout
How Does it Work?
Everlytic has built upon existing features to make our A/B campaign tool as easy to use as possible. List selection, email composition and delivery options remain the same. We’ve added a campaign management page that shows your two emails side-by-side, and shows the percentage that the test list will be split by (the default is 50:50).
