How do I upload an HTML template?

There are two ways of inserting HTML code for templates. If you’re using the template as a once-off, you can upload it in the Editing panel:

  1. Click Messages > Create Email.
  2. Select a blank template.
  3. Click Next to continue to the editing panel.
  4. Click the Source icon on the WYSIWYG editor.
  5. Paste your HTML into the source code.
  6. Switch back to your normal view by clicking the Source icon.
  7. Click Save.

To add a permanent template that you'll use regularly:

  1. Click Messages > Templates.
  2. Click New in the top right to create a template.
  3. Populate the necessary message properties, you can also pre-define the list that the template will be regularly sent to.
  4. Under Message properties, click the HTML tab.
  5. Click the Source icon in the WYSIWYG editor.
  6. Paste the HTML into the source code.
  7. Switch back to your normal view by clicking the Source icon.
  8. Upload and insert images into your message.
  9. Click Save.

Alternately, use the WYSIWYG editor to compose the body of the message, insert images, and edit text. It’s advisable to enable a text version of the message in the Text Version tab, just in case some of your subscribers aren’t able to receive HTML emails.

Be sure to upload all images and insert them into your mail if your images aren't stored on an external server.

You can create a template based on a sent message. In Reports > Email click the message subject and then click Create template in the preview.
